The visual effects, action sequences, and nostalgic style were immensely appreciated by the audience. The film was highly successful and earned more than $411 million all over the world. Later its sequel Pacific Rim Uprising was released in 2018. Pacific Rim: Uprising is an American science fiction action film. The film was directed by  Steven S. DeKnight. It is written by DeKnight, Emily Carmichael, Kira Snyder, and T.S. Nowlin. This film is a sequel to the 2013 film Pacific Rim and is also the second film in the Pacific Rim franchise. The cast in this sequel is John Boyega, as well as Scott Eastwood, Cailee Spaeny, Jing Tian, Adria Arjona, and Zhang Jin. Later they are joined by the cast from the Pacific Rim. The film is set in the year 2035. The film’s plot is similar to the first film, where humanity is again fighting the dangerous sea monster Kaiju who has determined to destroy the world. The film was released on March 30, 2018, in the US by Universal Pictures in 2D, RealD 3D, IMAX 3D, and IMAX. The film didn’t earn as much as its first part. But it was still a Box office bomb with an earning of $290 million worldwide. The film received some mixed reviews. But still, it was well-received by the audience. The plot for this film revolves around the Pacific Rim story. But the time when Kaiju rose from the Pacific Rim has already passed, and Australia has been overrun by Kaiju. And now the people are forced to evacuate the entire continent. But the siblings Taylor and Hayley are left behind, and they set on a journey to desperately search for their missing parents. They discover Jaeger and teach themselves to operate the long-abandoned machine. With the slightest hope of surviving in this world and finding their missing parents. This film is set to release on March 4 on Netflix worldwide. The trailer was released almost 3 weeks ago. The trailer was full of thrill and excitement. Just like the first trailer for this new Netflix series.
